Slipping Down the Drain

genre: Cartoon Romp length: 1:16

recorded: Summer 2002
studio: Private Island Trax
instrumentation: Clarinet, Violin, Trombone, Piano, Bass, Drums, Percussion
comments: Slipping Down the Drain was written for a wacky animation scene (Raw Toonage) in which two plumber characters attempt to fix the disastrous flooding/plumbing problems found in the home of a beautiful damsel-in-distress. Of course, sheer chaos and hilarity ensue.

Musically, this cue is full of gag effects, overstated emotion, precise hits, and a general "zany-ness" in its character and orchestration. Lots of fun!
