comments: This cue was composed as underscore for a theatrical trailer for the feature film The Cell. Just like the film, this cue is equal parts high-tech, intensely suspensful, futuristic, and bizarre. The cue builds at a slow pace before exploding into a frenzy of activity. Towards the end, it returns to the dramatically strange, before abruptly fading to the title card.

I spent just as much time designing and experimenting with sounds for this cue as I did composing it. I used lots of electronic loops, and designed many layered effects to highlight the strangeness of the world that is The Cell. Out of the context of the trailer, I'm not sure how emotionally interesting this cue is (I'll let you decide!), but it certainly goes hand-in-hand with the picture when it comes to "weirdness". Pretty cool.
